Job Overview

Our coffee shop managers are the heart of our business. They will provide direction and enthusiasm to help encourage our team. The perfect candidate will be ready to hit the ground running with a solid background in the coffee service industry, a positive attitude, excellent judgment skills, and the energy needed to propel our team forward. We are seeking a leader committed to success and someone who can help promote a joyful company culture.

Responsibilities

  • Key holders

  • Execute closing and opening of the shop including handling drawer counting and deposits

  • Solving challenges faced by customers and employees

  • Ensuring all things are stocked, cleaned, and ready for each day

  • Help track and execute team goals

  • Assisting in barista training

  • Ensuring quality products are going out

  • Assistance in maintaining inventory and receiving product

  • Ensure all policies and procedures are followed

Necessary Skills & Qualifications

  • Food safety certification

  • Knowledge of trends in the coffee industry

  • Ability to prepare a variety of beverages

  • Money-handling skills and accounting knowledge

  • Ability to effectively communicate with patrons and employees

  • Self-motivated and inspiring

  • Ability to prioritize effectively

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

  • Availability during operational hours (may include nights, weekends, and holidays)

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience as a barista
